we have a little place here that cc took me to that has the most amazing appetizer:
grilled artichoke with a naughty aioli sauce.
of course, we had to try to re-create it!
we boiled the chokes till they were relaxed,
then after we cut em in half,
we dumped a whole lotta butta and santa maria seasoning on em
{specific to our area out here... but you could probably get away with using lowry's}
then after it's grilled...
we made this aioli sauce...

but we added more heat...
i may have found a new love...
